Ford is competeing with Tesla

Waiting for both of them to arrive next year
Ford decided to compete with Tesla on a field of electric crossovers.
Not so long ago Tesla revealed its Model Y to the public. And Ford decided to troll them with a tweet stating: “Hold your horses” (ha-ha, very funny… not) referring to the upcoming Mustang-inspired electric CUV. According to CNBC, the Ford President of America Joe Hinrichs said that Mustang-inspired electric car should hit showrooms probably the same time as the Tesla Model Y.
The quote says: “The company is moving quickly toward producing what it previously described as a Mustang-inspired all-electric SUV that will be in showrooms next year, about the same time Tesla begins to deliver the first Model Y battery-SUV.”

But, the thing is that we already know some numbers of Tesla’s Model Y (pricing ranges from $30,000 to $60,000), unlike Ford’s “Hold your horses” Horse. At this time nobody has a clue what price will they put. Probably, even Ford have no idea yet. But, in order to beat Tesla on that field – they have to be more flexible for their customers.

One thing we know for sure, that Mustang-inspired car will be performance oriented. 300 miles on one charge is a pretty fucking good result.
As for its official name – nobody even know what will it be. One can tell for sure that it won’t be called the Mach 1, as Ford initially hinted at.
It could be called the Model E though lmao

Will it be a serious match to Tesla? Will it have better performance? Nobody knows.
One can tell for sure – more dudes will be after Model Y. Because it’s Tesla, right?
