Bitcoin Generates More Carbon Emissions Than Some Countries, Study Warns

Bitcoins generates more carbon emissions than some countries

Some new studies are trying to convince us that the carbon emissions generated by bitcoin are comparable to the whole of Kansas City, and even a small country. Large energy consumption generated through mining translates into a significant carbon footprint. And, as the computing power needed to solve a bitcoin puzzle has more than quadrupled since last year, it is a problem that is getting worse, the study notes.
Still, it depends on the point of view. Because nobody makes researches on the emissions from the banking system or from the emissions from the cars which the same bank workers use to get to their workplaces.
And let’s be frank, there are much bigger ecological problems than bitcoin’s carbon emissions. Imagine how a better life would be if fucking researches were made in needed life spheres?
