According to Business Insider, cybersecurity experts warn that watching porn on a working computer is might have unpleasant consequences.
Kaspersky Lab interviewed 6,000 people from all over the world about work-from-home conditions during the coronavirus pandemic. 68% of respondents said they work on their personal computers.
As for porn, 51% of respondents admitted that they began to watch more porn when they started working from home. 33% of respondents use their personal computers for this, 18% – computers provided by the company.
Switching to remote work creates many risks of cyber attacks itself, and visiting porn sites increases this risk. However, a Cisco study previously found that porn sites have long been not the most dangerous places on the Internet – the risk of catching a virus through malicious ads and links is high on commercial and media websites.
