Coronavirus Selfies That Can Help. Or Force You To

Poland made an app that forces coronavirus patients to take regular selfies to prove they’re indoors or otherwise welcome police guests. It’s called “home quarantine”. So if you don’t take the selfie in 20 minutes, the police will arrive at your home… Funny how police never arrive on time when it is really needed, but for Rona it’s always there.

The accounts of corona patients are made automatically by the government. So, you better download the app or else the police will come. Almost like in childhood times, when desperate mothers come to desperate measures like “alright! I’m calling the police” and the kid terrified starts eating its food.

People who were traveling and now are in Poland are obligated to use the app and be under 14-days strict quarantine. The selfie they make must contain geolocation. If they don’t send the selfie on time there is a fine roundabout 5000 zloty (which is approximately 1100 freaking bucks).

Welcome to 2020, where you can’t even get a proper day nap if you want to.
