ArsZeeqq on his role in Virtus Pro fails and wins

September last year a once average performing player Arseniy ArsZeeqq Usov became a new coach for the Virtus Pro team. Before that he trained Effect and Team Empire. And it seems like he’s doing fine on this position. What he himself thinks about his new job, he told in an interview with Michael Olsior Zverev.

On his role in the team

“I think I’m in my place. When they hired me, I was the best at the job I was doing for Virtus Pro. Just the best. (he sounds so fucking modest, don’t you find?) There were coaches before me, but they didn’t do what I am doing. They were morale boosters, they were friends, they could resolve some conflicts. But they were not that element, that mechanism, that helps to win Dota games. I’m not excited about all this. I feel it had to happen to me at some point. Or I shouldn’t have even started doing what I do.”

On rivalry

“I don’t just draft. We have such coaches (best coaches he means). We have them in CIS, and in Europe. There is a coach of Gambit Esports — Anatoly Boo1k Ivanov, he’s a very good coach. Here you have to understand what it is. There is a team of such a level, that it’s necessary to explain basics. Simple things. That’s why he works a lot and, probably, that’s why he is a good coach. There is a Na`Vi coach — Andrey Mag Chipenko. I talk with him about how what he does. And he does correct things. There is Roman rmN- Paley from Team Liquid. That’s why I have to invent something, try to work more to keep up.”
