Fans degradation is the reason for racism, says Yaya Toure

Stupidity of fans is the reason for racism prosperity according to Yaya Toure, former Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder. “Fans are more stupid than before” – well, it’s his words.

Recently, the number of jerky incidents have happened at football matches. Moreover, the fucking trend is just starting to take off.

In November, Mario Balotelli, a former Toure’s team-mate called fans douchebag and “imbeciles” for racist insults. Earlier, Rumelu Lukaku, Milan, was abused by monkey sounds, made by fans.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport can be nominated to “Asshole of the month” for their headline ‘Black Friday’ with images of Chris Smalling, Roma, and Lukaku.

 After all that shit, Toure tried to negotiate with FIFA about some changes, but soon understood, that it might be a long process. He mentioned, that the racist issue is so fucking important, highlighting, that fans degraded as never before. Toure is shocked, that people faced with that crap in 2019.

Being the fan of Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, Yaya Toure mentioned, that this player should have won Ballon d’Or (it was awarded to Lionel Messi, hmm…), because he is the best African player of the year.

 “For me it is a shame when a team wins this trophy (the Champions League) and the winner of the Ballon d’Or is not coming from there.” Shit happens…
