The interest of the UFC president in this fight is quite obvious ‒ with the end of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s professional career and his departure from the lightweight division, a new show is needed, new meetings for which people from all over the world will gather in the arena, waiting for the fight. And the athletes in the octagon will be important to them, not their titles. And McGregor gives it to viewers and organizers every time.

So the fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier will take place as part of UFC 264. On July 10, the battle between these two great athletes will shake up the whole Las Vegas!
