Russian Boxer Maxim Dadashev Died Of Brain Traumas.
The Russian Boxing Federation announced the death of 28-year-old boxer Maxim Dadashev. His traumas after the fight were fatal.
Maxim Dadashev died in the United States after a fight with Subriel Matias.
The welterweight fight was stopped at the 11th round – Dadashev missed a powerful shot to his left he staggered but remained standing.
“Mad Max”, as the boxer was called in sports circles, could not even reach the locker room – he was carried away on a stretcher. Dadashev was immediately hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery to remove cerebral edema.
For a 28-year-old boxer, this loss of a fight was the first in his professional career with 13 wins (11 by knockout).
The body of the young boxer was brought home, his family will get financial assistance.
