Copenhagens private highschool get two FIFA coaches
In the 2019/2020 school year, eSport Academy students from KPG (Copenhagen Private Gymnasium) will have new FIFA couches. Their names are Daniel Barnewitz and Nicolas Jacobsen..
Daniel Barnewitz is a well-known name on Denmark’s FIFA scene and is a daily coach in Brøndby IF. Barnewitz also coached Denmark’s first FIFA national team at DBU. At present, Daniel Barnewitz’ s main activity is coaching, but in the past, he has had a solid playing career, where he among other things won the DM in 2v2 in FIFA14.
So far, the coaches were Mohammad Al-Bacha and Hassan Al-Saraf who have been training for the KPG. The management at KPG thanks for the cooperation over the past two years and wishes the two eSuperliga stars good winds ahead with their playing careers.
Now the top goal for Brøndby and FCK is to fight to become the best FIFA team in the Nordic countries. In this, they will receive help not only from their coaches but also from the AGF player Nikolas Jacobsen
Nicolss Jacobsen is a student at KPG but is best known for having played in the eSuperliga for AGF. He was named “the surprise of the year” by sportsgaming.dk because of his great results in the 1st season of the eSuperliga. Nicolas will serve as an assistant coach for Barnewitz. Thus, Barnewitz’s planning of the training could be complemented by Jakobsen’s more player-oriented approach.
It’s not just gaming skills that are being developed. The two coaches are looking forward to the future collaboration at the esport academy where students not only get training in FIFA but also upgrade their mental, physical skills. They even start eating more healthy.
Sports coordinator Jesper Lillelund from KPG is looking forward to the future collaboration with Daniel and Nikolas and says that with Daniel they get a coach with a lot of experience and who are dedicated to the coachwork. This focus on the coach role will surely benefit KPG’s academy students and help make them even better. And with Nikolas Jacobsen talent that blows away everything, it will be a great opportunity to share his experiences with other talents in FIFA ”.
