Death Stranding: a hard-to-understand game, or a delivery-boy simulator?

Is a Death Stranding a reference for gamers to get a job? These are the words that the “Delivery Club”, which is the delivery service in Russia twitted not so long ago where they also made a joke, that it might be the only profession that could match gamer’s skills?

But is it really so? Is it just a delivery-boy simulator, or something bigger and more complex?

Death Stranding creator, Hideo Kojima believes that it might not be too simple for all the gamers.

He considers that his game is being criticized because some gamers found it hard to understand.
“I can say that the game has very nice assessments, especially in Europe and Japan. But we are being criticized in the USA. It could be that some players and critics are facing some problems understanding the gameplay. In the USA people love first-person games like shooters and Death Stranding is a not-so-easy-to-play game.”

“I always try to make something new, therefore disputes and discussions are common things to that. Also note that Italians and French have another perception of art, which lets them evaluate the unique things not only in games but in movies” told Kojima in his interview to Italian Tgcom24.
