World Of Warcraft: How to Unlock BFA World Quests
What can be better than enjoying an awesome game of WOW? The answer is quests! Especially with the updated expansions. The Battle of Azeroth has much to give to the questline and the overall questing. In its best traditions, Blizzard made sure to create some thrilling quest stories to brighten your day up. In the BFA expansion, they overcame themselves. Now that the bar is set even higher let’s go through this step-by-step guide on how to unlock the daily quests and world quests in WoW BFA, now with a whole new system of leveling.
Battle for Azeroth World Quests
Types of quests
If your goal is reaching the wanted 120 level in WoW BTA, there are two types of quests you need to focus on. The Daily and the World Quests. Let’s dive deeper into both of these quest types.
Logically enough, the daily quest is only one per day. You can repeatedly play them, which makes them easy and joyful in completing. But don’t let yourself be deluded. Some of them can be slippery.
The daily quests are made for various reasons: reputation,
different professions, and different seasonal events. So don’t be surprised when the line of such quests stands out. You can also indicate them thanks to the blue exclamation and question marks.
And of course, as the daily quest is out there only for 24h, here is the reset time:
- North America – 15:00:00 UTC
- Oceanic – 15:00:00 UTC
- Europe – 07:00:00 UTC
Further in the article, you’ll find what kind of achievements you can get if you do these quests every day.
The legion expansion brings new colors to the world quests. The BTA version gives a much more detailed story and a way more interesting gameplay. The main principle behind the world quests is that you can do them after unlocking. Also, they have a special algorithm, meaning that they are available in different zones and at different time, meaning you have to ‘’trace and catch” them.
Another characteristic of the world quest is the number of objectives one can have. Consequently, you’ll need more effort and skills to complete these goals.
The most popular World Quest objectives are:
- Raid parties or Dungeons
- Objectives similar to PvP
- Pet Battle
- World Boss objectives
- Elite Mobs or Rare ones
Let’s now move on to the fun part…
How to unlock World Quests in Battle for Azeroth?
If with the Daily quests it’s easier, because you reach level 120 and they are just there waiting for you, the world quests have to be unlocked first. Here we’ll track a certain algorithm of doing so.
0. Reach level 120
As said in the beginning, this is the basics. It is like a retirement place because to reach the top level you’ll need to invest a generous amount of time. But for that, you’ll be allowed to concentrate on the quests and have the maximum fun out of the game.
Become friends with Kul Tiras or Zandalar
Now, this is the first thing to do on your WoW “retirement”. Couldn’t be stressed enough on how important this step is. So please make sure you befriend Kul Tiras (Alliance Players) or Zandalar (Horde Players). This is like the golden key when it comes to World Quests.
So, how do you get your friendly reputation in the World Quests in Battle for Azeroth? Where to go and who to speak to. This information should give you some better perspective on that:
You will need to go through a quest called Uniting Kul Tiras. In this quest, you will need to befriend 3 fractions that are located in Kul Tiras:
- Proudmoore Admiralty
- Storm’s Wake
- Order of Embers
And, as said, you will find this quest in Boralus, where you will need to speak with Halford Wyrmbane. Caution, this guy rests in Tiragarde Sound.
For Horde players, the goal is to complete a quest called Uniting Zandalar and achieve a friendly reputation with all of these three fractions:
- Zandalari Empire
- Talanji’s Expedition
That’s why, to find Nathanos Blightcaller, just visit him in Zuldazar. The exact place where you can find him is in Zandalar.
No matter which player you are, Alliance or Horde, both ways you’ll need to befriend 3 fractions. So don’t put this aside. It’s not that hard and doesn’t take that much time (especially since you made it until 120 level).
To Complete War Campaign Unlock 3 footholds
The War Campaign is inevitable. The process is different for both Alliance and Horde players. Only then will you be able to progress to the World Quests and enjoy the whole adventure.
Types of World Quests
Before we go deeper, let’s take a moment and glimpse on the adventures and vivid colors that await you, once you open the World Quests. You’ll find details about the major quests. But to start, we’ll divide them by types:
Purple Exclamation Mark
This type of quest is about World Boss. You can expect to beat up some really strong bosses here.
Quests that are shown with Blue Skull on the minimap involve Dungeons.
Blue Exclamation Mark
Once you see this marker, you will need to kill an elite mob.
Normal Exclamation Mark / With Dragon Border
This World quest is about killing a smaller and a bit weaker elite mob.
As the name implies, this quest is all about your profession. Keep in mind that these types of quests spawn only in 3 days or so.
Green Paw Mark
Probably the most interesting quests in BFA, the best battling quest!
As we can see, this is what you’re up against once you unlock World Quests in BFA. You’ll have a handful of work here to complete them all.
Don’t get the wrong impression. Some of these quests are hard. So take the time to work on your strategic approach. This way you’ll have a ready-to-use scheme and save yourself some time.
Exceptional World Quests: BfA
To be more specific, here is a list of the most difficult quests in Battle for Azeroth.
A quest like no other. Rather unexpected, as in Tortollan Seekers you won’t need to kill anybody. There you’ll need to use your brain and solve some puzzles. Yeah, it may sound easy peasy, but in fact, you’ll need to put up your A-game. For example here are the puzzles:
Here you’ll feel like a true animal rescuer because the whole aim is to help baby turtles get to the sea. But besides this, you’ll need to rescue them from all kinds of other animals like seagulls, crabs, and others who are ready to eat them for lunch. After all, there will be a bit of killing here, as some creatures won’t leave alone the turtles otherwise.
- Shell Game
This one won’t be a challenge for you if you have a decent memory. This search is, as you would expect, a classic memory puzzle, so there is no need to explain anything here.
- Make Loh Go
To solve this puzzle, you will enter a quick mini-game. There, you’re asked to direct a tiny turtle around the maze. You will need to collect control points on the way to the finish line.
Those are some of the most favorites around the Battle of Azeroth. But make your way mindfully, as you’ll be able to go through every part only once.
For this quest, you’ll need to complete 4 special World Quests. They are an absolute blast, as you’ll do the thing you love the most – killing!
Also, this type of quest is quite practical and involves both Alliance and Horde players. Gaining reputation points here is quite easy, this way you’ll get your position higher in no time.
This is not the Naga invasion you’re used to: not only you’ll help your aliens defend from it, but you’ll have the opportunity to kill a lot of Naga minions. By this, you’ll free the captives. But don’t stop there, destroy as many War Supplies as you can, this will make your quest easier.
Here’s the best part – When you finish this quest, you will be rewarded with a super buff. That’s right, Unstable Manapear! This buff lasts only for an hour and increases your stats by 1000 which is mind-blowing.
Champions of Azeroth
The Champions of Azeroth, probably the most famous World Quest, is both exciting and satisfying. This quest is now available in both Kul Tiras and Zandalar, suggesting that both fractions can complete it.
As you may have figured out, this quest requires you to deal with Azerite. You will need to use your Hearth of Azeroth to aid and heal Azeroth since there will be a lot of pain, or you will need to kill some elite mobs.
The best part about this quest is that you will always be rewarded handsomely for your efforts. The gear that drops when you complete this quest is always of the Azerite kind, so your reward is well worth it!
Rewards and bonuses in BfA
Every quest will bring you some rewards. Depending on the difficulty of the quest, the reward will change. So don’t get your hopes high with the easy quests. It is worth one’s time to get them through and get all the cherries from the top. Keep in mind that the quest reward depends on the quest type. To make it easier for you, here are the quest types:
Quest for Profession
Once you finish this type of quest, you can’t expect a reward that’s not suitable for your profession. That’s why this type of quest only ensures you get a professional skill-up.
Battle Pet type of Quest
These types of quests have a high chance of providing you with stones and pet charms. They’ll come in handy further in the gameplay.
Dealing with Elite Mobs Quests
Since dealing with Elite Mobs is a heavy job, and also requires a lot of time and effort, the reward for this type of quest is much better than any regular quest. You can find some valuable pieces of gear as well as some huge stash of gold.
Other World Quests
From gold to Azerite Power items, there’s a chance to get anything once you finish some World Quest.
The bottom line is that the more you give (about time and skill), the more you’ll get in return. Only a few Achievements are available, such as the Wide World of Quest Achievement, which you can win after completing 100 World Quests. Aside from that, there are a few series of accomplishments that, once you get a taste of them, are very helpful.
With all we’ve discussed so far, it’s only logical to conclude that completing World and Regular Quests is beneficial. So buckle up, stock up on potions, and set out to finish them all.
We went over how to get World Quest in WOW BFA in great detail. As a result, it is entirely up to you to embark on this journey and enjoy yourself while doing so. Enjoy your game!
