Instagram to the rescue of the Catholic Church?
Probably you will be surprised to know that Pope Francis has an account on Instagram with over 7 million followers but zero pages followed. It’s kinda official copyright of Vatican Media – IGTV, post and photos, nothing special.
Yet somehow this very official and neutral account got involved in one awkward situation. Rumour says that this account liked a photo of a very hot Brazilian bikini model named Natalia Garibotto. If the girl is a parishioner of the Catholic Church you can only imagine her reaction to such incredible appreciation. Not just Jesus loves you, the Pope actually likes your photo, a big deal for a religious person. Oh wait, does the church approve of posing almost naked?
Apparently, the official Vatican gives it an emphatic denial and starts an investigation with the total support of the Instagram team. They aim to trace back that “like” and prove Pope Francis has nothing to do with it.
It would be really interesting to know who set His Holiness up.
