The Irish icon of MMA will fight with Manny Pacquiao this year. McGregor says that the contract is almost ready and the agreement is about to be achieved. That’s gonna be one hell of a fight as Pacquiao is the only world champion in eight (!) weight classes. He is the five-fold lineal champion in five weight classes. Back in April 2016, he announced that he was leaving professional boxing but proudly came back in November 2016 in the fight with Jessie Vargas. Since then fans can still enjoy his tremendous “hurricane”.
As for McGregor himself, he is tough: he had 26 MMA fights and won 22 of them. Yet he announced his intention to leave MMA for the third time in 2020. Fortunately not this time, nope, not gonna happen just yet!
So, as McGregor is still in business, why not have a good fight with someone special. The chances for the bout increased when Pacquiao had a contract with Paradigm Sports Management which also represents McGregor.
MMA fans are in for a treat as the bout must be a sporting event they will never forget.
