Pernell Whitaker, a Famous Boxer, Died In a Car Accident
Virginia Beach police responded to the call: somebody told the man was hit by a car. The traumas were fatal, and the man died on the scene, without regaining consciousness. The driver of the ill-fated car was there all the time.
As police officers confirmed the identity of the sufferer, he turned out to be the absolute world champion Pernell Whitaker, 55-year-old, also known as Sweet Pea.
Whitaker’s son believes that the fatal accident took place because of the dark clothes of his father – the car driver just did not see him in the dark.
I still can’t believe that he died… He was such an awesome man!
Pernell Whitaker was born on January 2, 1964, in Norfolk, Virginia, U.S.A. His career started when he was nine.
