How to use scope in PUBG
If you compare aiming in PUBG to other games, you’ll find a few differences. PUBG gives two options to choose when aiming – a precious view for first-person and a close up for the third person. That gives the ability to aim in both perspectives. Scoping in PUBG can be a little unusual for players until you get used to it.
To use the scope in PUBG you have to be in person mode. Press ‘V’ to modify views if you utilize the person and right click your mouse to use it. There are 3 scope strengths, 8x and 15x are the foremost effective for sniping.
Keep in mind that sniper rifles are zeroed so that they are effective at totally different distances. To get the best results check How To Change Zeroing Distance in PUBG.
For both consoles, it works quite the same way:
- Find your scope and equip the weapon.
- Press the LT (left trigger) to aim.
- Press LT once more to return to the default view.
- Equip scope to your weapon.
- Press LT (Left Trigger) to Aim Down Sights (ADS) with scope.
- Press LT (Left Trigger) once more and you will return to the default view.
Firstly, you must find scope for a scoped weapon. You can do it in any way: through robbery or taking it from dead bodies. There are many kinds of scopes in the game, for example, holographic sight, canted sight, 2X, 8X, and 15X with the best approximation. No matter how you’ve found the one, you need to apply it to a weapon, that can be used with it.
After you have got your weapon scoped, you will find out where the difference comes, and it is quite clear. You use Left Trigger to pull up the scope, like in other games, but you don’t have to hold the trigger button. If you tap the Left Trigger, it will pull up the scope until you press the button again. To use the third-person view, you must hold down the Left Trigger.
There is no auto-aiming in battlegrounds, so if you want to get the best results, you will have to practice a lot.
