Well-known chain Pizza Hut in the partnership with Gravity Blanket accidentally created a best-seller that was sold out in a matter of hours despite the price.
The thing called “Original Pan Weighted Blanket” looks like a giant pepperoni pizza with an option to have a more cheesy version. Way over a hundred bucks for a blanket doesn’t seem to be a bargain, but check out the price of a regular Gravity blanket – it’s about $200, so the pizza version is quite a pick-up.
As for pizza fans on Twitter, they are stoked to have this new blanket to comfort themselves in a gloomy evening after a long hard day. Some enthusiasts say that they never knew they needed it yet, now they can’t imagine their lives without this pizza blanket.
It’s been a limited edition and those who have managed to backdoor their way into purchasing it will have it delivered right before Christmas. And hopefully, at least the blanket doesn’t stick to the bottom of the box, unlike its edible prototype.
Pizza-shaped blankets would make a perfect match with some diet Coke-shaped pillows and KFC-painted curtains and hot dog couch – and that’s how you start living inside an enormous fridge of a compulsive eater. What an interior for another lockdown!
