Several Danish esport teams fall in the world rankings.

The Danish top team Astralis has dropped one step in the world ranking, losing their position on a 3rd place to a 4th place as overtaken by the Finnish team ENCE.

Astralis, Denmark’s best team, has gone down a place and is therefore now only the 4th best team in the world after ENCE had won over them. Astralis has otherwise had a good start on the major, after beating DreamEaters and G2 in the opening matches. However, they had to tighten up as they lost an incredibly close match against NRG, which ended 31:28 to NRG’s favor. Astralis was run over 16-4, and it sent Astralis out in a match for New Legends Stage to the Major — against CR4ZY. Another few close matches, but Astralis took home the victory and secured the New Legends Stage.

However, there are several changes to the world ranking. North has retained its # 11 spot, but Heroic has dropped 3 places and is now 17th in the world. OpTic has risen 1 place and Tricked has retained its place.

Unfortunately, North had to see itself eliminated from the major by Liquid, and that also means that their place in the world rankings is likely to decline in the next half. However, Astralis will face Liquid on Friday at 6:30 pm in a BO3 and the winner will advance to the semi-finals of the major.
