San Jose Sharks get captain’s blood and the taste of revenge

San Jose Sharks Vs Vegas Golden Knights. The Most Epic Game in History

It seems like there is nothing that can surprise us in the world of sports anymore at this time. But here comes NHL!

Sharks were down 0:3 at the quarterfinal conference with Golden Knights. But they made a fantastic comeback and within 4 minutes got the leading position. Knights were able to play back by the end of the main time. This match went for overtime and this is where San Jose’s player scored.

During the game, it was hard to point out leaders and losers among both teams. You can’t really predict who will win in the end. Everyone has equal chances.

The first match San Jose Sharks took with 5:2, but on the next day, Vegas Golden Knights avenged. It was fun to watch since throughout the whole game you just couldn’t know who to root for. By the 7th minute, Golden Knights were up 3:0 and by the end of the first period, the score was a draw. With the start of the second period, though, Mark Stone scored with the victory puck!

San Jose won their first match at home and then it all relocated to the Vegas Golden Knights’ field. This is where Knights took the game into charge. Two wins and lots of missed pucks by Martin Jones and Aaron Dell. The run’s score is 3:1. It seems like San Jose Sharks have nothing to do here but keep on reading!

The fifth match Sharks win with 5:2. But when it came to the sixth match, the Golden Knights won during the second overtime. It was epic!

The seventh match is the match of the year for sure. The on-going rivalry during the previous six matches boiled the fans’ and players’ blood. So everyone wanted to see what will happen next.

The Golden Knights scored first in the initial part of the game. The stars of this part of the game were William Karlsson and Reilly Smith. Vegas Golden Knights scored the second one from the slot as well as the first one in the middle of the second part of the game. By the beginning of the third time, the score was 3:0!

Seems like Sharks have nothing left for this game. But Cody Eakin and Paul Stastny accidentally knocked down the Sharks’ captain Joe Pavelski, injuring his head. Eakin got five minutes penalty since his hit was the first one.

This is where Sharks got the taste of blood. Within 4 minutes, Sharks scored 4 times! Twice by Logan Couture, Tomáš Hertl, and Kevin Labanc. And this is how you turn the tables around, ladies and gentlemen.

But it feels like Golden Knights don’t give up. Jonathan Marchessault scored during the last minute in such a way that poor Johns couldn’t hold it.

We wish this epic battle never ends, but the winner has to be announced. San Jose hit the last puck so hard that they scored at the end of the first overtime. Barclay Goodrow stepped on the ice for the first time during this match and went for it right then. Marc-Andre Fleury missed the puck and San Jose Sharks got the taste of sweet victory and revenge for their captain’s head.

So the Stanley Cup 2018 finalists went home and Sharks continued their journey.
